Overview
Desroches is located 230km south-west of Mahé. With 14km of immaculate white soft sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, the exclusive island is one of the most beautiful in all of the Indian Ocean.
The entire island has just 51 Suites, Retreats and Villas, all sea facing and just a few steps from the beach.
The island resort is particularly ideal for those who enjoy water-based pursuits, as guests can benefit from a range of water sports including; snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, deep sea fishing, fly-fishing, kayaking and hydro biking. There is also tennis, local guided walks, cycling and a full service spa. The resort’s main restaurant offers a ‘barefoot’ open air dining experience and there is also beach bar and restaurant which holds regular evening barbeques.

Situated 4 degrees South of the Equator, Desroches Island is part of the Amirantes Group of islands and is approximately 6km long and 1km wide with 14km of coastline.
A 45 minute seaplane flight from Mahe International Airport.
