We want to ensure that we select the best people we can to work with us, but also ensure the process is as relaxed as possible and that you view it as an opportunity to ensure we are the right company for you. Once we have reviewed your application and feel that your experience and skills match the requirements for the role you will be invited to attend some or all of the following assessments depending on the role you are applying for. We will regularly update you on the progress of your application and wherever possible schedule times that are convenient for you.
We use an on-line assessment tool called Activity Vector Analysis or AVA but please don’t let the big name put you off! It is simply an on-line questionnaire which we will e-mail to you to complete at your convenience prior to your interview. It takes 20 minutes and you go through a number of questions ticking the words that best describe you. If you are unable to gain access to the internet we can also arrange for the assessment to be completed in paper format. The results give us an indication of your natural behavioural style and how we can best communicate with you in a working enviroment.
For some positions you may be invited to complete an aptitude test (TST), where possible we will schedule this at the end of your interview or invite you back at a convenient time. This is a paper based test which consists of five short timed sections, there will be a member of our recruitment team with you to ensure you understand what you need to do and you will have a practice before commencing each section. The whole test will take approximately 45 minutes, and please don’t panic when you don’t complete it all!
We aim to make our interviews as relaxed as possible for you and will ensure you have the opportunity to have all your questions answered too. In most cases your interview will take place with the appropriate manager and a member of the recruitment team. You should allow approximately an hour for the interview and for some positions you may be invited back to a second interview.
