Ibiza is not the smallest of the Balearic Islands but it is probably the noisiest, thanks to a non-stop, wild nightlife that made Ibiza the party capital of Europe. Beaches here are some of the best in the Med. If you are not too hungover on your holiday in Ibiza you might discover that the island has a coastline that is more than 18 km (11 miles) long and is lined with all kinds of different beaches. Away from the busiest resorts, you’ll find pretty countryside and a growing number of upmarket hideaway villas and hotels. Like the other Balearic Islands, Ibiza lies off the east coast of Spain.
