There are two season, November to April when it is hot and rainy and May to October when it is cooler and drier.
Seem to take forever. Travellers from Europe can fly via Paris or via Johannesburg in South Africa. Flights from London via Paris, take around 20 hours. Flights from London via Johannesburg take around 16 hours.
Should be approached with caution. Road conditions vary greatly depending on area and the season - rainy or dry. Traffic on the main roads is heavy with plenty of pollution. If you do plan to drive, you’ll need an international driving licence.
