Tropical and truly exotic, Malaysia is an increasingly successful Asian country with great beaches, dense jungle, river rafting, trekking and wildlife. Malaysia has two distinct sections – the Malaysian Peninsular and the East Malaysian provinces of Sabah and Sarawak in North Borneo. They are separated by the South China Sea. The city of Penang is lively with a historic quarter while the nearby island of Langkawi is home to an increasing number of luxury hotels. To escape the heat, do as the colonial British did and visit the Cameron Highlands, famous for its strawberries, tea plantations and jungle trails on your holiday to Malaysia.
