Sharm el Sheikh is a sophisticated holiday resort and its coast is lined with hotels, casinos, fantastic dive sites, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. It was built (and is still developing) as a holiday playground on the tip of the Sinai Peninsula. Sharm is on the edge of the Nabq national park on the Egyptian side of the Red Sea. Holidays in Sharm el Sheikh are popular because of the miles of sandy coastline, the brilliant year-round sunshine, clear waters and reefs that are rich with sea life. It’s an ideal destination for diving and snorkeling.
