The two islands of St. Kitts and Nevis offer the kind of idyllic white sand beaches, dramatic mountain landscapes, tropical forests and crystal blue waters that make you feel like you have finally arrived in that picture perfect destination you’ve always dreamt of.

The islands are very similar but do have certain contrasts. St. Kitts is the larger of the two which you quickly realise as soon as you arrive; from the hustle and bustle of Basseterre to the resort enclave of Frigate Bay. If you decide to give the sunbathing a miss, it will take you a good few days to explore the beaches alone, with their hip bars, water activities and relaxed holiday vibe. Explore inland and you will come across the sugar plantation estates where you can stop for a quick bite to eat.

Nevis only has one volcanic mountain as opposed to an entire range and you can get around the island by car in less than two hours. But there are still several beautiful beaches for you to relax on and the charming main town of Charleston is a delight to explore, although you can walk from end to end in just 15 minutes.

Even if you just stay on one island, frequent ferry service means that you can easily enjoy both.

The people of St. Kitts and Nevis are typically Caribbean; mellow, friendly and welcoming to ensure all visitors feel at home and look forward to visiting again.

The diversity of the island...there is so much more to see than just white sandy beaches (although they aren't exactly hard on the eye).

The people ooze typical Caribbean warmth, you can't help but fall for their charms.

The cuisine is simply delicious...try the gourmet picnic at Montpelier Plantation, a chic private hideaway on a historic 18th century sugar plantation.
