Aspen is one of the finest ski resorts in America. The ‘A list’ celebs come here, not just because it's a wealthy, upmarket ski town, but because it has great skiing and boarding for all levels.
There are four mountains - Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass. They are connected by Aspen's free shuttle bus system - ensuring there is something for everyone.

Aspen is not a resort for skiers on a budget. This is top celeb territory and priced accordingly.
Most holidaymakers with a machine readable or biometric UK passport and a return or onward ticket can travel on the Visa Waiver scheme for stays of less than ninety days. It’s recommended that your passport has at least six months to run to the expiry date.
Without doubt. There are five terrain parks – three on Snowmass and two on Buttermilk.
Plenty. There's serious shopping and pampering at resort level, snowshoeing tours and cross-country skiing higher up.
November to April
Non-stop flights from London to Denver take around nine and a half hours. The drive from Denver to Aspen takes around three hours depending on road and weather conditions. You can also fly to Aspen - which is about three miles from the resort - and there's another airport at Eagle County - around 70 miles/112 kms away.
You can hire a car at Denver airport, but consider whether you really want the hassle of driving, especially in winter conditions, when most operators lay on transfers to the resort as part of the holiday price. Ask your Travel Counsellor for details.
