When David and Victoria Beckham chose Courcheval as their ski resort of choice, it was another feather in the resort's already full cap. For Courcheval has long been the most elegant and chic of French resorts. It's part of the Trois Vallees - Three Valleys - which means skiers can also ski in Meribel, Val Thorens and Les Menuires on one lift pass.
Be sure you know the difference between the villages within Courcheval and choose according to budget and expectation. There are four in total, from 1850 which is the most desirable and expensive, to 1300 which is a world away from the glamour and glitz.

Flights from London to Geneva take about an hour and a half. The drive from Geneva to Courcheval takes about three hours but journey times depend on weather and road conditions.
It's easy to hire a car at Geneva airport and there's plenty of choice, but consider whether you really want the hassle of driving and parking when there are much easier ways to get to the resort and get around once you arrive.
