Kitzbuhel is a pretty and elegant ski resort. It’s in easy reach of main international airports. Holidays in Kitzbuhel have a traditional feel thanks to the town’s charming Austrian buildings and cobbled streets.

A ski pass here gives you access to neighbouring resorts so you have a wide choice of slopes and runs. Kitzbuhel is not at high altitude so conditions in early and late season can be a gamble.

The Hahnenkamm takes place in Kitzbuhel. It’s one of the most demanding downhill races on the World Cup calendar.

Austria has complex driving laws and all cars must drive with their headlights on during the day all year round. All drivers must carry high visibility waistcoats which must be worn day and night when getting out of a vehicle on the hard shoulder or in the event of a breakdown.
