St Anton remains one of the top ski resorts in the world. It has excellent, challenging terrain and a great nightlife.
On the slopes, St Anton is a destination for more experienced skiers and not really for newcomers. The centre is pedestrianised which only adds to the attraction of ski holidays in St Anton.
On the slopes, the resort's lift system benefited from investment for the 2001 Alpine World Championships. A new Ferris Wheel lift means that skiers can enter one of 28 gondolas at ground level, so there's no more trudging up and down steps in ski boots. And the lift can carry three times as many skiers as the cable car it replaced. Bliss.
St Anton is considered a snow sure resort. Snowmaking equipment exists in some areas.
