I have travelled quite extensively over the past 15 years, and had always done all of my own and my family's travel planning myself using websites. When I first heard of Andy's service, I decided to give it a try as I had been labouring over the planning of at least 5 trips per year and as a small business owner I no longer have the time to do it myself. I was truly shocked at the low fares which Andy was able to provide for myself and my husband on our recent trip which involved flying to several points in the US. I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Andy Fouracre of Travel Counsellors for his invaluable assistance in getting me and my partner out of Thailand during the recent political disturbances.

The day before we were due to fly home from our holiday, the international airport at Bangkok was seized and closed by anti-government protestors and flights were cancelled. He has always said to contact him any time, so I took him at his word and phoned him in the middle of the night. He immediately set to work and found us an alternative route home, using regional airports to get us to Kuala Lumpur and from there to London. By working on this straight away, he was able to reserve what were probably the last remaining seats on three flights, and thus secure our passage out of the country.

Throughout, he was entirely professional, keeping in touch and always responding to our phone calls, text messages and e-mails.

I am extremely grateful for his assistance, as without it, we could have been stuck in Thailand indefinitely with a consequent huge impact on my business.

This episode has brought home to me the importance of using an experienced and professional travel agent to book your air tickets as you can then rely on their support if things go wrong. If we had brought our tickets ourselves, we would have been left completely stranded with no one to work on our behalf and make alternative arrangements.
