I was excited to see what Jamaica could offer and I was thrilled with what I found. Some beautiful luxury hotels where royalty have stayed and some more simple All Inclusive properties where tree high rooms welcome you as well as many other hotel types offering their unique charms. All on an island with some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.
When you are bored of flat Caribbean Sea and white sand then a catamaran cruise with reef snorkeling is a must and many more exciting adventures besides. I went ghost hunting at the Haunted House of Rose Hall. I climbed the gushing waters of Dunns River Falls. I high sped in a bob sleigh ride in memory of the Jamaican bob sleigh team from the top of Mystic Mountain. I rode a camel, stroked a sting ray and swam with a dolphin. I watched fellow travelers (No I did not have the courage) jump from the heights of Ricks Café and I sipped a cocktail at Margaretville!
All in all I found Jamaica a great destination with hotel resorts to suit all ages, for couples and for families - there is something for everyone!
