Welcome to the web page of David Little, Personal Travel Counsellor.
I am based in Blackwood, South Lanarkshire and have been in the travel industry for 15 years. During my time I have worked firstly as a sales consultant with an independent agency based in Edinburgh, and latterly as Branch Manager with the same company.
Working for Travel Counsellors has allowed me to indulge my passion for travel and also to dedicate more time to my clients. People are often surprised that they can contact me at evening and at weekends with any queries they may have. I believe that it is important that my clients can discuss their holiday arrangements with me at a time suitable to them.
I believe that booking your holiday should be an exciting and enjoyable experience. Your holiday choices are not limited to any particular supplier and I will tailor your holiday to suit your needs. I pride myself in providing a level of personal service and attention to detail that simply cannot be found in the High Street.
Nothing gives me more pleasure in hearing that your holiday has been great and I welcome the opportunity to speak to you on your return to hear all about your experiences. I once received a call from clients from the rim of the Grand Canyon to say how much they were in awe at what they were seeing and to simply tell how much of a wonderful time they were having. How special is that?
I have had the privilege of visiting many Countries and my favourite destination so far has been the Western USA, where I visited many of the National Parks and was left speechless at nature’s wonder. My most special moment and one which will live on in my memory is ascending 2000 ft to Vernal Falls in Yosemite National Park in California and standing beside a waterfall plunging 500 ft and with the sun behind creating a kaleidoscope of colour created by rainbows. I ascended to the top of the falls and there was a maze of rock pools. Strewn across one of the pools and close to the fall's edge, was a fallen tree which overlooked the valley below. I sat on the tree and thought how special this was and how privileged that I was able to experience something as wonderful as this.
Having travelled extensively, I will be able to offer personal experiences on many destinations and whatever your travel needs – whether it is a city break, honeymoon, tailor-made itinerary or just flights I will be only too pleased to help.
