About Me
My name is David and I live and work in a beautiful part of Devon on the edge of Dartmoor.
I have been in the travel industry since 1981 and a travel counsellor since March 1998. I have travelled extensively throughout the world visiting many far flung destinations as well as many closer to home.
I am passionate about travel and as a Travel Counsellor I am able to pass on my knowledge and experience. I am able to offer a level of service which I believe is far superior to what you will find in most high street travel agents or call centres. I love travelling to North America, having visited the country in excess of 30 times, and I consider this to be my specialist area of knowledge.
Within our organisation, I am a 'Gold Travel Counsellor’ in recognition of my high level of sales. This I am especially proud of and is testament to the satisfaction experienced by my many customers, many of whom I now consider as friends. In 2008 I was very proud, out of 1000+ travel counsellors, to receive the highest score as voted by my customers which means I have been rewarded with a BMW for the next three years!!
In these less than settled times isn't it good to know too that no matter what you book through me, everything without exception will be 100% financially protected. This is something that we are particularly proud of. Many think the method they use to book their holiday is secure but sadly very often this is not the case.
Together with this peace of mind, I am also always available for my customers and do not just work the normal 9-5 day. I am here whenever you may need me either before you go or whilst away. In fact many of my customers appreciated this enormously during the volcanic ash crisis in April 10.
We live in a fast-moving 'information age', and I find customers prefer to talk to me to discuss their holiday plans, trusting me to help them make the right decisions. Everyday I receive at least one call from a new customer who has been given my details and this in my view is the best recommendation for a job well done. The fact you are reading this means that this has probably happened to you to, so I hope to hear from you soon!!
