Thank you for visiting my webpage.

My name is Emma Fillingham, I live in Telford, Shropshire and I have more than 23 years experience in the Travel Industry having worked for some of the major high street tour operators. Working in a busy high street superstore meant I wasn't able to offer the level of customer service that I believe people deserve when booking something so precious to them, plus constantly being restricted to what holidays I could sell led me to make the move to Travel Counsellors where I now work as a self-employed independent travel advisor.

Travel Counsellors have major contracts in place with almost every tour operator, airline, hotel chain and travel company in the world, so whether you are looking to organise the trip of a lifetime, a round the world cruise, a short city break or a family holiday on the beach somewhere hot, I can be your personal Travel Counsellor and take care of everything for you meaning sourcing all of the best options and allowing you to book the holiday that you want and not the holiday that somebody else wants you to take. Excellent customer service has been the secret to my success in the industry, as your travel arrangements mean as much to me as they do to you. I will go that extra mile to make sure we get it absolutely perfect for you.

I have travelled all over the world during my career and have been as far as New Zealand, Thailand, the Caribbean, Mexico, Florida, Egypt, Turkey and many other European countries, not to mention city breaks, cruises, and even Lapland to see Santa himself! This of course means that I have gained a lot of first-hand experience and would love to share this knowledge with you in order to make sure you get the perfect break.

I have witnessed the pitfalls of booking online through sporadic websites and there is nothing worse than getting to the airport with no flight seats booked, no transfer to the hotel, or even worse no reservation at all at the hotel. It happens all the time, but not with me, as I will personally confirm everything for you prior to your departure.

Having recently been on a holiday to Lapland booked through Emma at Travel Counsellors I can highly recommend the service she provides. Emma gave me lots of advice and options and was able to match my expectations to the holiday. Leading up to the holiday, Emma was able to answer all my queries and nothing was ever too much trouble. Emma was recommended to us by a family member after she had arranged a trip to Florida for them last year. We explained that we wanted to visit Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong and gave her a budget. After a few days she emailed us an itinerary which worked perfectly for us. In Australia we wanted to visit several cities, hire a car and drive along the Great Ocean Road and visit the Great Barrier Reef. Now back home and having taken six flights and stayed in nine hotels we have lovely memories to look back on and Emma made this happen. Our entire trip went without a hitch and whilst we could, no doubt, have arranged the trip ourselves, having the help of an experienced and knowledgable Travel Counsellor made a big difference. We would have no hesitation in asking Emma to help us with our next holiday.

Emma gave a fantastic personalised service, sourcing a fantastic last minute holiday to Florida for us for seven people! It was August and prime holiday time we stayed at the Reunion Resort and I can honestly say it was my best holiday ever! Fabulous accommodation, and all flights and park tickets also arranged by Emma, she really did work miracles given the short notice and requirements involved, plus hand delivery of flight tickets and accommodation details, a really great service from a dedicated travel professional!
