Hi, my name is Gaynor Pickard, I am a personal Travel Counsellor based in Southport. Travel is a huge part of my life, it's my passion and has been since a young age.
I have worked in the travel industry for 24 years and I have an array of travel qualifications, including a postgraduate diploma in tourism from Manchester Polytechnic (1990). I can bring a wealth of experience in helping you plan the right holiday, wherever in the world that might be. I have a great library of maps and books that you are welcome to borrow at any time, or even to take away with you on your trip.

You can call me from the comfort of your home or I can visit you to discuss your travel requirements, safe in the knowledge that you will be receiving the very best service. At Travel Counsellors we are not biased to any product, unlike the High Street travel agents who have all suffered recently due to vertical integration, redundancies, and the necessity of having to employ inexperienced staff due to the cut throat nature of this industry.
Although I specialise in cruising, group skiing holidays, specialist family holidays with excellent childcare (I have 3 young children of my own) and round-the-world tailor made itineraries, I have travelled extensively and can advise on any type of travel, be it a white water rafting trip on the Colorado River, Lapland for all the family, a convention in Hong Kong, a special once in a lifetime trip to Disneyworld, a honeymoon to Mauritius, wildlife viewing in the Galapagos Islands, swimming with dolphins in Bermuda or even flight-seeing over the Antarctic - I do it all !
