My End Of Year Newsletter
Firstly, I hope you and your loved ones have had a wonderful, healthy Christmas and are looking forward to a travel filled 2022!
It has been another "interesting" year in the world of travel but thankfully, 2021 was much more positive than 2020. 2022, although I am sure will present it's own challenges looks like it will be better again as the world takes a more uniformed approach to travel including testing, entry requirements and working to the same list of "red countries".
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued support over the last 12 months. The referrals and wonderful testimonials that I have received have kept me going, especially when the government decide to change UK entry requirements at 10pm on a Saturday evening!
Where have you been travelling to?
I have had the privilege of sending over 180 clients on holiday this year. Adventures have ranged from UK hotels, cottages as well as UK cruises, something that has never really been on the radar before. As well as those venturing further afield to destinations such as Barbados, Mexico and Mauritius.
Plus, so many children finally got to meet the real Father Christmas in Lapland this year after having to postpone their trip last year.
Where have I travelled to?
2021 has definitely been the year of cruises for me! I have been a big cruise fan for many years and this year I have been fortunate enough to go on 3 different cruises. 2 around the Uk onboard the fun filled Royal Caribbean, Anthem Of the Seas and the regal, Princess Cruises, Sky Princess. More recently I flew to Miami to board Virgin Voyages new cruise ship cruising to 2 x Islands in the Bahamas (bliss). I also got to Crete with my family!

One thing that has not changed this year is that entry requirements for both the UK as well as overseas have and can change with little or no notice.

Our performance since Covid hit.....
It is no secret that travel was decimated when Covid hit in March 2020. However, one thing that I and all at Travel Counsellors are justifiably proud of is the feedback we have had from you on the way we managed the pandemic.
We credited 11,003 customers for future bookings, rebooked 13,790 and processed 48,410 refunds!
Travel Counsellors also came top 3 times in a row on Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert poll for how we managed your refunds.
