About Me
Hello there and thank you for visiting my webpage, my name’s Ian and I am based in Bessacarr, on the outskirts of Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
I have recently joined Travel Counsellors and have spent over 20 years working in various sectors of the travel industry. I have worked both in High Street Travel Agents, Call Centres and spent a number of years working locally for Apollo Travel and Co-op Travel.
I have been lucky enough to visit many places around the world over the years and also spent time living overseas. I have holidayed several times in most European countries - both cities and beach holidays and stayed in many different resorts that cater for very different tastes.
I love the Far East and have experienced Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand and also holidayed in the Caribbean and visited both Sri Lanka and the Maldives in recent years. My favourite destination, however, has to be Cuba with its fabulous people, superb beaches and something for everyone. My wife and I married in Cuba a few years ago and it really was a superb and unforgettable experience (for all the right reasons!)
As a home-based Travel Counsellor, I am available 7 days a week and will always be able to offer totally impartial advice…whether that be for a couple of weeks in the sun with the family, a round-the-world cruise or flights to simply spend some valuable time with friends and family.
With access to outstanding technology and working alongside some of the most experienced colleagues in the travel business, I will do everything possible to find what you’re looking for. I have colleagues around the world who will always be able to help with those little extra ‘travel tips’….whether that be the best restaurant to visit in Dubai or where’s the best place to go shopping in Toronto.
