I hadn’t visited Ibiza for a number of years and was really pleasantly surprised at how green and pretty the island was. I loved the resort of Santa Eulalia del Rio, with its many shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel, W Ibiza. There really was something for everyone! The hotel had a great chilled vibe that would be perfect for a relaxing break with a loved one or a group of friends. I would certainly recommend it for a weekend break or longer if you have time – the perfect post pandemic place to relax and recharge with the opportunity to get out and explore or go clubbing if you fancy it.”

My highlights were exploring Ibiza Town following the lovely setting of the drinks reception on the rooftop of The Standard Ibiza. I also really enjoyed the day trip to Formentera – a stunning island a world away from Ibiza
The last time I visited Ibiza was in 1994 so it was great to see this beautiful island through slightly more mature eyes. Ibiza Town is a beautiful destination in its own right and I can see why people travel back time and time again.
Having spent the past 38 years in the travel agency I had never been to Ibiza, and I absolutely loved it. Ibiza Town is stunning, and I would strongly recommend this as a city break as, although much smaller, it felt very much like Barcelona with the added benefit of the medieval old town, which is incredible. The island is so picturesque and a day trip to Formentera truly stunning with the added benefit of an incredible lunch venue. Yes, Ibiza is very boho and certain parts of the island are fun filled paradises for nocturnal people but, don’t shy away from Ibiza as my experience was superb and I won’t leave it years before returning.
If you visit Ibiza, you must take a boat trip to Formentera. Stunning Island with amazing beaches and unbelievable restaurants.
