Experience Greece in Luxury with Grecotel

Forty luxury resorts in 9 gorgeous Greek destinations make the award-winning Grecotel – founded nearly half a century ago – one of our top recommendations in the country. Each property is different, with its own character and architecture, but common features are opulent amenities, gourmet restaurants, attention to detail and genuine Greek hospitality. The brand is also firmly grounded in its heritage and terrain, with unique offerings including the traditional AgrecoFarms in Crete and the Danilia traditional village and museum in Corfu.

Experience Greece in Luxury with Grecotel

Corfu Imperial, Corfu

On its own secluded peninsula, with private coves, three sandy Blue Flag beaches and one diving beach, this place is something very special and unique – hence its popularity with royalties and other A-listers. Accommodation includes waterfront suites, swim-up family bungalows, and apartments, and even aristocratic villas and dreamy palazzos with private pools. As part of the half-board Dine Club experience, you can venture out to try the restaurants of Grecotel’s three resorts on the Kommeno Peninsula.

LUXME Daphnila Bay, Corfu

Also part of the Kommeno development, this chic all-inclusive tumbles down the hillside to its own sandy bay and the Ionian Sea. One of the things we most love about it is its waterfront dining, in the Greek Tavernaki with its meze and ouzo and in beachfront Asia Oliva with its sushi. But there are several other tempting options on-site, as well as afternoon teas and late-night snacks. Accommodation comes in airy, light-hued rooms, suites and one villa, including family options.

LUXME Kos Imperial, Kos

This sleek option in birthplace of Hippocrates summons up the father of modern medicine’s spirit in its Elixir Spa with its open-air massage rooms in a private garden. We also rate this hotel this resort for its fantastic layout, curled as it is around a lagoon framed by tropical gardens dotted with six lovely swimming pools. Fantastic water sports are at hand, and there’s an amazing choice of 22 different room types and hence something to suit all guests.

LUXME Dama Dama, Rhodes

On the island’s famous, Blue Flagged Faliraki beach and with a 100m swimming pool as its dramatic centrepiece, this hotel – named after the deer that have lived on the island since antiquity – includes new loft-style family suites and two-bedroom bungalows. Guests are encouraged to get to know the island courtesy of the new e-bike and e-scooter hire, but reasons to stay on site include four pools (one with a water slide), a yoga and pilates club, and a new outdoor gym by the beach.

La Riviera & Aqua Park, Peloponnese

In the sun-spoilt region where the Olympic Games were born, this is a great resort for being active, with its own Sports Campus on its 500-acre wooded estate. You can choose from the likes of tennis, diving and other water sports, horse-riding, hiking, paintball and plenty else, and there’s a huge water park – in fact, the largest in any Greek resort – plus a Blue Flag Beach. Twenty-four restaurants and bars mean there’s something for every taste and every mood.

Creta Palace, Crete

This is a classic beach hotel oozing Cretan hospitality, styled after the palaces of the Minoan kings and Venetian nobles who once ruled Crete. The huge choice of rooms means there’s something to suit everyone, from doubles to villas with up to three bedrooms sleeping eight - perfect for larger family groups. Some have private pools. Among the dining options are the chance to enjoy a tasting menu at the group’s own AgrecoFarms, where kids can play at being a farmer for a day.
