Experience luxury in a groundbreaking Dubai icon

Only open since January 2024, One Za’abeel has added groundbreaking architecture by world-renowned firm Nikken Sekkei to the One&Only mix: the brand’s first vertical urban resort, it includes the world’s longest cantilever – a ‘boulevard of the future’ - between its two towers. It also stands out for having the UAE’s longest infinity pool, which unfurls across this cantilever, The Link, for a sky-high experience a full 27 storeys above the city.

Bathed in year-round sunshine, this pool club is one of the very best spots in the city for relaxing, socialising, and celebrating, complemented by breathtaking views over the city from every angle. Luxurious cabanas, sunken seating areas, and cushioned day beds encourage you to linger.

The Link is also home to Michelin-starred dining and a destination bar. Indeed, all the food at One&Only One Za’abeel is outstanding, served in 11 fantastic restaurants offering cuisine presided over by six Michelin-fêted chefs, including Sophie-Anne Pic, whose restaurants between them hold ten Michelin stars. Her La Dame de Pic offers French fine dining in a light and charming feminine space.

It’s impossible to list the rest here, but among our favourites is Arrazuna, a modern take on an Arabian food hall and marketplace by star Finnish-Turkish chef Mehmet Gürs, situated in The Link and celebrating the cuisines of Turkey and the Middle East. Then there’s the Andalusian-inspired QABU by Paco Morales, with classic Moorish flavours given a modern spin. But these are just the tip of the iceberg.

The modern interiors in One&Only One Za’abeel are simply stunning. Za’abeel means ‘white sand’ in the local Emirati dialect, and the colour scheme of the vast, airy rooms and suites takes its cue from local beaches, with a soothing neutral colour palette and subtle sand motifs in textiles and artworks.

Like other One&Only resorts, One Za’abeel takes its inspiration from local nature to offer guests immersive outdoor adventures tailored to its surroundings. Its dynamic concierge team can set you up with all kinds of thrilling activities, including curated desert safaris, hot air balloon rides over the dunes, and meetings with Bedouin people to hear their ancient tales passed down through the generations.

The resort is in the exclusive Za’abeel neighbourhood, where old and new Dubai meet. This means you’re perfectly situated for desert adventures and you’re on hand for all the attractions of this ever-evolving city, from its malls and souks to cultural venues, including the Museum of the Future.

On the other hand, there’s full-on relaxation and escape on tap at One&Only One Za’abeel’s outstanding health and wellness hub, which takes over an incredible three storeys, offering rejuvenating spa treatments, tailored programmes, and a state-of-the-art gym.
