Oceania’s newest ship ‘Vista’ launches this year

Founded in 2002, Oceania is now one of the world’s largest premium cruise lines – one known for its fleet of small luxury vessels. The newest member of the Oceania Cruises fleet, Vista will provide the fantastic cuisine, exceptionally personalised service (there are two staff members for every three guests – 1,200 guests served by 800 crew members) and elegant furnishings that Oceania is known for.

Oceania’s newest ship ‘Vista’ launches this year

Among her onboard temptations are the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center and Aquamar Spa Terrace - a space for lush massages and rejuvenating treatments, couples’ therapies in an exclusive suite, traditional Chinese medicine therapies, medi-spa aesthetic treatments, personal training, and complimentary fitness classes including HIIT yoga and Pilates.

What to expect

During her highly anticipated inaugural season, Vista will take in destinations in the Mediterranean, French Riviera, Canada, New England and beyond, with each journey featuring free airfare and a choice of up to eight shore excursions, a drinks package or up to US$800 Shipboard Credit.

After a 12-day maiden voyage from Rome to Barcelona, Vista’s itineraries for 2023 will include the Canary Islands, the ancient Adriatic, Greek islands, Holy Land highlights, London to New York, New York to Montreal, and the Panama Canal.

Inclusive amenities for travellers will embrace dining in speciality restaurants, 24-hour room service, shuttles from port to city centres in many destinations, fitness class and WiFi.

Accommodation

All of Oceania’s suites and staterooms are luxurious, generously proportioned and decorated in relaxing earthy tones, with designer furnishings, fine fabrics, plush draperies and chic lighting.

Vista’s standard staterooms are the most spacious at sea, at more than 290 square feet. All options come with verandas and are decorated in soothing tones with opulent furnishings and artworks. The palatial Owner’s Suites and the top-of-ship Library are styled exclusively in Ralph Lauren Home.

The Owner’s and Vista Suites, Oceania Suites and Penthouse Suites come with VIP services including in-suite dinners courtesy of your butler, Bulgari amenities and private teak verandas. Or upgrade further still to an exclusive Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom for further exclusive benefits, including Visa’s new versions specially designed for solo travellers. There are also staffed Concierge and Executive Lounges for Concierge Staterooms and Suites, respectively.

All Penthouse suites and staterooms feature large bathrooms with oversized rainforest showers, while all Owner’s, Vista and Oceania Suites feature luxurious soaking tubs.

Dining

Vista has no fewer than 12 dining options, four of them brand new to the Oceania fleet. This means that as well as Oceania’s tried-and-trusted favourites that are already so popular with guests, including the refined Grand Dining Room and the ultimate steakhouse experience at Polo Grill, guests will also be able to enjoy the delights of health-focused Aquamar Kitchen, the American-inspired Ember, The Bakery with its still-warm French and Italian pastries, and the Culinary Center Dining Room with its dining events evolved from the vessel’s hands-on cooking classes.

Vista also see the introduction of an innovative bar program embracing immersive mixology experiences, curated cocktail menus, unforgettable pairing experiences and speciality experiential drinks carts such as the Bubbly Bar and the Ultimate Bloody Mary Bar. As well as discovering the latest cocktail-crafting trends and techniques, including flavoured mist bubbles and Negronis aged in wooden barrels, you can sample an extensive selection of low- and no-sugar wines and zero-proof cocktails.
