Hello
My name is Jane Woolford. I have spent the last 12 years in retail travel, but 4 years ago I decided to become a Travel Counsellor as I realised that working as a high street agent did not give me the opportunity to give the level of service I was happy to offer or that I felt my clients deserved.
Travel Counsellors gave me the chance to work in an industry I love, offering a friendly and personal service, backed by a high quality travel product.
I now work from home and have built up a good business with many lovely clients who book their holidays with me time after time. They know I will find out the smallest detail and will answer every last query about their holiday…and enjoy doing so!
I love travelling myself and started my career in travel as Cabin Crew, visiting many wonderful destinations but inspiring me to see and discover more.
I have travelled to the USA, Caribbean, India and Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the South Pacific and many countries in Europe. My particular favourites are South Africa and the Indian Ocean. But Italy is also somewhere I could return to many times and still love.
My best holiday was a safari in Sabi Sands in South Africa; a safari is something everyone should do once in a lifetime! This year I managed to visit one of the countries on my own personal wish list, Borneo. This is a wonderfully exciting country and if you are looking for culture, wildlife, wonderful beaches and friendly people, then it is the perfect destination.
If I can’t offer personal advice on your holiday from my own experiences then I have many contacts in the industry who I can call upon to give the right information my clients need.
