About Me
My name is Jeanette and I am your personal Travel Counsellor in Darlington. I have been in the travel industry for over 18 years working in leisure and business travel. I joined Travel Counsellors in 2006 and prior to that I have lived in Hong Kong for three years, gaining knowledge of Chinese culture and the opportunity to visit other countries - Australia, Borneo, Cebu, Malaysia, Thailand and Bali.
I am now part of the biggest and most exciting travel agent in the UK; I have a huge range of products at my fingertips to offer you, whether it be Family holidays in Europe, Honeymoons in Mauritius, Caribbean Cruise or a USA Fly-drive, you can be reassured to know that anything you book through me is financially protected.
I have a passion for travel, and when I was younger I bought a ‘round the world’ ticket and went “back packing”, the countries I visited were USA (California), Hawaii, Australia (Sydney, East Coast and Tasmania), Hong Kong and Thailand. My favourite was Thailand; I spent two months travelling in the country including a trek in the jungle. It was amazing to experience a different culture, a holiday I will never forget!
So, what can I offer you in addition to sharing my knowledge of some of the world's most beautiful destinations? Well, I have always taken great pride in the fact I work very closely with my customers, some of whom have been booking with me since I started out. I like to take time to get to know what you really want from your holiday so that I can work with your budget and make suggestions about ideas you may not have thought of. If I think a tailor made itinerary will suit you better I'll put together a bespoke holiday and once you have booked I'll be with you every step of the way to ensure the run up to your travel experience runs smoothly.
