German Christmas Market

I was visiting friends in Germany in Christmas and have heard so much about the German Christmas Markets that I wanted to visit.

It was about an hour by train from where I was staying, and I must say the German Trains were very prompt and extremely clean and comfortable.

Dortmund was a lovely place with loads of shops. The market spread throughout the shopping area with hundreds of stalls.

Lots of stall selling Gluwein and Beer! There was also a lot of stalls selling traditional christmas decorations including the hand carved wooden decorations and Traditioanl Nutcrackers, and glass.

On the whole I had a lovely day and would definitely go again. Although the market wasn't as big as I thought. I personally would recommend Hamburg or Berlin for Germany.
