Luxury Holiday to Turks and Caicos

I recently revisited the beautiful islands of Turks and Caicos. I went there about nine years ago and loved it so much I wanted to return. As soon as we landed I remembered what I fell in love with on my first visit. The people are so friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at the luxury resort at Beaches which has four separate villages to stay in so it’s a resort in a resort. There are so many activities and dining opportunities to choose from. We stayed in the Caribbean village in a Concierge luxury room which was perfect for us at it was steps from the amazing beach and also right near the dive school so as keen scuba divers very handy.

The scuba diving was the main reason for our return as the diving here is among the best in the Caribbean and also such a professionally run dive school. Two dives a day were included in the price. The first dive we did (although it was pretty rough that day on the crossing) was well worth it as we saw reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, lionfish and a turtle that was so close I could have touched it. It was an amazing first dive and it just got better during our stay.

Beaches Turks is on a lovely long stretch of beach and the colour of the water is amazing.

Back at the resort you can choose from 19 restaurants as part of your all-inclusive. Our favourites are Arizonas for your steaks and ribs and Sapadillos for your fine dining adult only restaurant. All of the restaurants were lovely and we had some amazing food on our 11 night stay. The cocktails and drinks were all fab too and all were included. The only thing you have to pay for is wine bottles from the menu but you can drink house wine and champagne (cava) to your heart’s content.

Turtles bar is great and they have a fab team working in there that make it such fun. Even though we don’t have children and have been to many of the Sandals properties we are always drawn back to the luxury holiday at this resort with the choice of restaurants.

If you do have kids it’s amazing. They can be entertained all day long with activities while you relax by the pool knowing they are being well looked after. There is great water park too which we thoroughly enjoyed.

I cannot commend the staff enough here as they are just the best and I am sure we will be returning sometime again in the future.

If you want a luxury holiday to the Caribbean with absolutely everything included then it’s worth a visit!
