The ride across America that we did in September was always going to be a big challenge. One of the main concerns I had was the travelling. Having travelled all over the world, I have experienced vast differences in the quality of the travel I have done. Some has been very poor and some has been fantastic. I am glad to say that the travel arrangements for our ride across America were faultless. Every booking that was made was made correctly and the accommodation was spot on.

Even the flights, taking 15 people with bikes and bags half way across the world went without a hitch.

I must say that I was very impressed with the travel arrangements, and would use Travel Counsellors again. Kath, thank you very much for your service, it was much appreciated.

Given that there were 15 of us and we had some 19 hotels, 6 different flights and 2 R.V’s from a totally different location, I am amazed that you managed to pull it off at all. But to do so without one single hitch was pretty remarkable.

Whilst writing, I should also mention your constant contact and updating prior to the trip. This was a source of great comfort and it confirmed that our travel arrangements were in the very best of hands.

As you are aware, I have already spoken to you about organising us for the Rome2Home ride in the Spring of 2010 and we will be in touch in due course to get the ball rolling.

If my memory serves me correctly we stayed at 18 different hotels in 21 days, and every check in was smooth and efficient, most even had the correct names for the ones that shared a room!

Obviously planning and organising this amount of hotels for a group of 15 people would have been a logistical nightmare and due to your hard work we were able to get on with our task without worrying about that side of things.

Kath worked with this charity on the organisation of a cycle ride across America involving a team of 15 people. All the travel arrangements, hotel bookings and car hire required to make the trip run smoothly were organised by Kath personally. A problem with a motor vehicle in the USA also required emergency input from Kath to obtain a replacement, arrange to have it picked up and the original vehicle recovered.

Kath also organised my own trip out to America to attend the finish of the cycle ride and a celebration dinner in Atlantic City.

I cannot praise Kath’s knowledge and professionalism too highly. She listened to our requirements and instituted a project plan which ensured the whole event was a great success – and a profitable one for the charity.
