About Me
My name is Lynda and I have been working in the Travel Industry for over 15 years now, mainly working in independent travel agents in Bolton.
I joined Travel Counsellors as I wanted to concentrate on giving my customers the highest possible levels of personal service and independent travel advice. It's fantastic that my customers no longer have to wait in endless queues and deal with a different person every time they wish to speak to someone about their booking. This also allows me to be much more flexible with my working hours to suit my customer needs, so clients can get in touch day or night.
If I had to specialise in any destination it would be the Canaries; I used to be a Holiday Rep in Tenerife and mainly worked in the bigger hotels in the Americas/Christianos side of Tenerife. Also each year for the past 5 years, I have visited the Red Sea side of Egypt, both Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada.
I have been married now for nine years and have a son who is eleven this summer. We all enjoy going on holiday as a family and we have covered quite a lot of Europe. I also have travelled to America – Florida, California and Boston - and I have visited Dubai.
