About Me
My name is Marc Fitchett, personal travel counsellor based in Calne in Wiltshire, previously residing in Berkshire until November 2007.
I’m married to Laura and am a proud father to my daughter Molly. I love living in this peaceful part of the English countryside, and enjoy my relationships I have with my customers.
Previous to working for Travel Counsellors, I worked for 2 independent agents in Reading, Berkshire. Mainly selling package tours, ski holidays and cruises. As I’ve had 8 years experience in the industry I have been fortunate enough to gain experience in many aspects of travel. I have had extensive training on Canada and the Caribbean as well as taking part in many cruise ship visits and my own personal experiences of travelling. I have recently started learning more about business travel, enabling myself to offer a wider range of services to holiday makers and businesses alike.
Each country I’ve been fortunate enough to visit has something different to offer. I really enjoyed North America and the Caribbean. I honeymooned in Thailand and plan to revisit Asia soon. I’ve visited over 30 countries world wide including most of Europe, North America, Caribbean Islands, Thailand, North Africa, Mexico and I’m planning my next visit to Dubai, and the Indian Ocean.
I pride myself in putting my customer’s needs first, and treat each customer how I would expect to be treated. I make myself available outside normal office hours and always get back to my clients if I’ve missed a call or email due to being out of the office or with a client. The best way to give good customer service is to listen to people’s needs and delivering what my clients want.
