We have just come back from Ibiza, Aug 2008 and a total of 14 people, (four families), travelled together.

Maria was very helpful in sorting out our holiday, from start to finish.

For that many people it must of been a lot of work, but nothing was any trouble. Sorting out all our requirements, which Maria did with great success.

We all had a great holiday. Maria has booked us to go to Bulgaria next year!

The service that Maria offers is excellent. Somehow she always seems to be available at the end of the phone. I am a very tricky customer, fussy, with specific needs! Maria is very good at recognising these and sourcing just what we like. I would have given up on me a long time ago but not Maria, its always service with a smile! Paula and I have known Maria since 2005 (Going Places) when one afternoon we decided off the cuff to book a holiday. It was last minute, however Maria found a fantastic hotel and we had a great week. When we found out Maria was leaving Going Places it was quite disappointing because she was the reason we would have gone back and booked another holiday. However every cloud has a silver lining. Maria popped up some months later with a new company and venture of her own, Travel Counsellors. Now Paula and I are quite fussy with our holidays, but we set Maria a task and within days she came back and ticked all our boxes. Believe us when we say finding a hotel in Egypt that has a beach which you can walk straight into the water is no easy task. Maria found us a lovely hotel in El Gouna called the Movenpick, we had a fantastic 2 week holiday and have been back since. On a personal level we have found Maria extremely helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Two examples; Unfortunately Paula has been unwell for some time and being in a busy airport and travelling is quite an ordeal for Paula. We asked Maria if there was anything she could do for us, within a day she had come back with passes to the club lounge in Gatwick and arranged personal transfers at no real additional cost. Our plane was delayed on one flight out from Gatwick, we had a car meeting us at the other end but had no way of contacting the driver to explain we would be late. We phoned Maria who in turn contacted the hotel and driver to explain we would be late. Once we had taken off Maria again phoned the hotel/driver and passed our flight details to them so they knew what time we would be landing, all ran smoothly and we were picked up at the other end. Would you get this type of service at a normal travel agents? I doubt it!

I was very keen to contact you and sing the praises of Maria Foxwell. (Infact I've been singing her praises to anyone who'll listen for a while now)

Maria was introduced to us through our wedding planner and has been a joy and pleasure to liaise with re our honeymoon.

I will freely admit that we probably weren't that simple to deal with. We were unsure of exactly what we wanted but very sure of what we didn't want.

Maria just instinctively got a feel for what we were after and worked so hard to achieve it for us.

Solely because of Maria's hard work, we now have a holiday planned that will be the 'trip of a lifetime' that one hopes a honeymoon would be.

If we had been left to do it ourselves it would still not be done and Maria made the whole thing a pleasure.

She is lovely to deal with and works tirelessly. I wanted to pass my thanks onto her and Travel Counsellors, the company.

We met Maria at a local wedding fayre and after talking to her there we were really impressed with her. She is extremely organised and really knows the best places in the world to visit. Maria is extremely knowledgeable and if there is something she doesn't know, she will spend time researching it for you. Consequently, we decided to ask Maria to organise our honeymoon. We had a vague idea about what we wanted but are terrible at making decisions, particularly one that was this big! So it was great to have Maria at the end of the phone (which she always is) and was a great comfort while we were away too, knowing that someone at home was on hand in case there were any problems. Having looked at lots of beautiful Caribbean hotels and debating the merits of each island, we decided we couldn't choose and asked Maria to organise us a two centre holiday which she was more than willing to do. We spent a week in Antigua (Blue Waters) and a week in St Lucia (Marigot Bay). After it was booked, we were given an itinerary with all of our private transfers already arranged to and from the airports. Maria spent lots of time and effort with us to help us get the perfect honeymoon and she succeeded, taking lots of pressure away from us as we were already very busy organising a wedding. We had a fantastic time and we will not hesitate to enlist her help in booking all of our major holidays in future (and we already have a few ideas!).
