About Me
My name is Maxine Staniland and I am an independent travel agent in Sheffield. I have been in the travel industry for over 26 years. I joined Travel Counsellors in 2003 and before that I worked for travel companies such as Lunn Poly and Going Places in managerial positions.
I joined Travel Counsellors as I wanted to concentrate on giving my customers the highest possible levels of personal service and independent travel advice.
As a professional Travel Counsellor I can use our award winning technology and my personal expertise to tailor make exactly the right holiday to suit your needs. Rather than selling you a standard tour operator package, I can quickly search through hundreds of different flight, accommodation and transfer alternatives to find something that suits your needs exactly. Quite often this means I can build you a bespoke holiday at a cheaper price than the standard holiday package you might get elsewhere.
I love holidays in Florida which I last visited in May 2010 with my husband and my son Will. He loved it also so we will be going back very soon. If I could holiday anywhere in the world I would take a flight to Bangkok and travel around Thailand as I love the Far East.
I have also travelled to many other destinations including Malaysia, Mauritius, South Africa, New York, Boston, Las Vegas, Australia, Dubai, Caribbean, Greece, Turkey, Tunisia, Italy, Spain, Cyprus and many more.
