Whilst in Jamaica visiting the Sandals resorts I also visited the Beaches Resorts in Negril & Ocho Rios. Beaches Resorts offer most of the same luxuries as Sandals Resorts but are family-friendly with many extras for the kids and family accommodation that sleeps up to 12.

There is a Sesame Street Character parade twice a week with photo ops (including the character ‘Julia’ a sweet and curious 4-year-old with autism). For an extra fee your child can learn to be a DJ in the Scratch DJ class. Good for most ages and you get to take your record home! Plus, water slides, ice-cream machine and a whole host of kid’s activities to keep them happy – what’s not to like?

Beaches is the first resort company in the world to complete the rigorous IBCCES training and Autism Certification! They offer families with children with autism and other special needs specialized service, engaging activities and custom dining options so that all families may enjoy a memorable holiday experience.
