Regent Seven Seas Splendor
I was invited onboard RSSC Splendor to experience her second maiden voyage. I say second as the first maiden voyage was in January 2021 and sadly she couldn’t go anywhere for 18 months. However, as part of the restart process, many of the major cruise lines put on trial cruises, including this one on Splendor which I was especially happy to join!
I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best ocean cruise I’ve ever been on.
If you like delicious food, beautiful surroundings, superb service, never ending very good drinks, fantastic entertainment and out of this world luxury, then Regent Seven Seas is for you.
Seven Seas Spendor is a gorgeous ship and so luxurious and comfortable that I could have easily spent weeks on it.
We stayed in a Penthouse suite which was much bigger than most hotel rooms. The butler service was a wonderful addition that I could definitely get used to (sadly I don’t have a butler at home!) and the level of luxury was superb but not stuffy.
What makes RSSC stand out for me despite the food, drinks, ship etc (which were outstanding as mentioned!) is the service onboard. The staff genuinely appear happy and proud to work for RSSC.
I think I’ve been a bit spoilt by this cruise and I have to say, I can see why people return to Regent Seven Seas Cruises again and again.
