It has now been 6 months since we got married and we have had time to reflect on our Wedding and Honeymoon, both of which were perfect in every way.

Whilst we arranged the Wedding and Reception ourselves, all the credit for our perfect Honeymoon was down to our Travel Counsellor, Michelle Thake.

It goes without saying that we wanted a Honeymoon that we would remember and Michelle surpassed our expectations in every way.

Michelle was fully involved from the onset and having got to know us very well, suggested the location that she thought would suit us both, and this was Canada!

Once the location was decided, the real hard work for Michelle began.

Like everyone we had a budget and numerous things we wanted to see and do and Michelle ensured that this was achieved.

We were able to travel from Toronto to Vancouver, seeing Niagara Falls, ‘The Rockies’, travelling on the ‘Rocky Mountaineer and taking in so much spectacular scenery along the way together with our own personal guide through the Rockies Ice Road.

We only had 14 days to fulfil our ‘wish list’ and we managed to do everything we had planned at the start.

Whilst it was nonstop, Michelle arranged our itinerary in such a way that we were able to spend time in Toronto at the start of our Honeymoon to relax and prepare for the busy schedule ahead and time in Vancouver at the end to relax and reflect on what we had seen and done.

We were prepared to sacrifice luxury accommodation in order for us to be able to see and do more, but that being said, ALL of the hotels that Michelle found for us were more than suitable.

Lastly, but not least, Michelle was always contactable in the event of any problems and whilst we did not experience any, it was reassuring to know that help was always at hand if need be.

I don’t think that there is much more that we can say, other that we found the perfect package, Michelle and Canada and we certainly had a Honeymoon that we will remember for the rest of our lives and we will certainly arrange any future vacations with Michelle!

Just a line to say everything went according to schedule. It never ceases to amaze Ivor but it was a great weekend. The car park worked well, the flights were good for Easyjet and the Speedy Boarding a bonus, thank you...The Relais Bristol Hotel was very good and definitely up to the Fairmont standard. Luxurious room, superb Restaurant and cuisine to Michelin Award standard, the people were lovely and the service excellent. Highly commendable. The transfer cars were also superb.
