Unbelivable Maldives

I visited the Maldives as part of an Agents familiarisation trip in December, so I could personally experience many amazing resorts to then be able to recommend to you - my clients.

The first island I visited was Soneva Fushi - barefoot paradise! Literally meaning they put your shoes in a bag as soon as you arrive on island, being barefoot is all part of the concept of this paradise island. After three nights of luxury in one of their huge villas with private pool with the most amazing culinary experiences such as dining and watching the stars in their tree top restaurant to sipping a cocktail while lying in a hammock over the sea whilst stingrays swum underneath, I reluctantly moved on to the island of Milaidhoo - story of a small island.

If life could get any better it just did with arriving on this beautiful island, I stayed in an overwater villa, with a private infinity pool and direct access into the sea. Whilst here I went on a snorkelling trip, you can swim out a short way from the beach and then you enter the world of Nemo - just unbelievable to see all the colourful fishes, some turtles and even dolphins. Dining here was very special, my favourite trip was to be taken fishing, then end up on a sand bar illuminated by hundreds of torches - a glass of champagne waiting and the fish we caught then barbecued for you to dine on.

Next was Huvafen Fushi, yet again an incredible experience enhanced by the sea plane journeys, the views are something never to be forgotten. Arrival at Huvafen Fushi was perfect, transported by buggy to our overwater sunset suite, sitting out on the deck with champagne and canapes and watching the most beautiful sunset was an experience not to be forgotten.

The Maldives as a destination is not for the budget conscious, but this is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.
