My name is Rita Hunter and I am based in South Liverpool. I have lived in this vibrant and exciting city all my life. I am married and live with my husband Charlie and my son James who is 17. I am a Personal Travel Counsellor and I love my job.
As a Travel Counsellor I have the privilege of being able to assist you in getting the holiday you want. How exciting is that? I joined Travel Counsellors in 2006 and have worked in the travel industry for over 30 years; it really is an amazing and very rewarding job. You can have the benefit of my experience at no extra cost to you.
Being in the industry for so long means that I have been lucky enough to travel extensively. Some of my favourite destinations are Orlando for it's excitement, Malaysia for it's relaxation and wonderful people, Dubai for it's amazing sites. Not forgetting areas closer to home like the Costa Del Sol, I love this region in Spain. I also enjoy visiting County Wicklow in Ireland and Loch Ness in Scotland. When it comes to holidays folks, I really am a good all rounder.
The best bits about being a Travel Counsellor......how long have you got. My colleagues and customers are friends, the IT systems, support facilities and amazing deals generated by our Bolton Head Office makes my life unbelievable easy. I can work hours to suit my customers and family, evenings and weekends included and the bad bits about my job........I'm still working on that one. Now how many people do you know that can say that?
Being a Travel Counsellor also brings with it the flexibility of being able to deal with many suppliers which is great. This means I can fit the holiday to match the customers requirements and not the other way around.
