About Me

Ever booked a holiday and never spoken to the travel agent until such time when you need to chase your ticket? Even worse, spending hours online to make a booking, not speaking to anyone and just turning up at your departure point hoping everything is OK?
That’s why I joined Travel Counsellors, we offer that all important but rarely found quality of customer service. It literally is my business to provide the best and highest level of service available to you.
The crazy thing is, this is really easy for me to do. With a wealth of personal travelling experience and an absolute passion for travel, and great technology; I am in a position to tailor-make the right holiday to suit your individual needs.
If you have been surfing the internet you will know that it can take a long time to do the research. Having travelled extensively and completed numerous training courses and educational trips, I am in a really good position to find and advise on the ideal holiday. However, that means that I still need to get to know you a bit; and understand your requirements before finding the perfect match; which can still take a bit of time. I can though, be available in the evenings or at weekends, should you need to discuss your requirements / options available in detail. Another fundamental difference between booking with me and online or a high street agent is that you have the continuity of dealing with an individual should you have any further queries prior to your departure. I will also provide further information on your destination and current topics/events which may be of interest to you.
The service I provide does not end when you make your booking or an enquiry for that matter.
There are so many fantastic places to go it is a challenge to get to know all of them in great detail. However I am constantly attending seminars and training sessions on different destinations and products; to be able to provide you with the best advice. If you are looking for the somewhere out of the ordinary, you can rest assured I have access to the best contacts and tools/ to provide you with the best advice, even if I haven’t been to that particularly destination or tried that particularly activity personally! (I do draw the line at Sky diving as I am not very good with heights, however I do have some very good links into a few sky diving clubs, so can still help if you would like to try this out!)
Whether you are looking for activities such as diving, skiing, sailing or surfing, adventure on safari, that awe inspiring feeling when you stand on the Great Wall of China (it is awesome), Niagara Falls (be prepared to get wet!) or watching a herd of elephants bathing in the river in Sri Lanka (one of the best experiences I have had); or you are looking to create your dream honeymoon, trying to organise a group/family holiday (can be time consuming and painful I know I’m one of 5!), or if you are just simply looking for a complete chill out week, away from the office or with the family, please don’t hesitate to give me a call.
