I visited Disneyland Paris on a 3 night break, with a group of Agents at the start of the new Generation Festival. This incorporates a lot of the new characters from Toy Story, Monsters Inc and the Incredibles. Characters can be seen generally around the park for photo opportunities, in the shows and in the park rides.

We travelled by Coach, which I must admit I was a bit sceptical about at first, however, with a local pick up point and a nice break on the Ferry to have a wander, do some shopping, have some lunch, and let the kids have chance to run around and play; I actually found it to be a really good way to travel. The standard of coaches available are excellent, as were the staff who looked after us throughout the whole trip. There were movies, toilet facilities and hot/cold/alcoholic drinks and snacks on board, so the journey took no time at all. The other big advantage, was that the coach team phoned ahead to advise the hotel on arrival time. One of the hotel staff boarded with all of our room keys/registration forms. We literally picked up our cases and we went straight to our rooms, without any queuing at all.

Disneyland Paris (Disneyland Park, Disney Studios and Disney Village) is brilliant, for anyone that hasn’t experienced Disney in Florida and for the younger ones to have their first experience of meeting all the Disney characters, as well as enjoying all the rides. (My favourites were Crushes Coaster and the Tower of Terror!) There is a new Toy story land with additional rides, just being finished off in Disney Studios, which should be ready Summer 2010.

The majority of the Disney Hotels are within easy walking distance of the parks. We had an excellent opportunity to visit each of the properties to see what they have to offer and the different standards of rooms. Each of the hotels has a different theme, which is followed throughout all of the areas and provides different advantages

I was really impressed and had a great time on this mini break, bearing in mind:
? No endless waiting around the airports to board, or for your luggage!
? No weight luggage restrictions;
? You put your luggage on the coach when you depart and take it off when you get to the hotel!
? Practically direct door to door transport in complete comfort
? Fantastic break for everyone and you can make it as short or as long as you like.
