About Me

Hello and welcome to my webpage.

I have worked in the travel industry for over 25 years and as a Travel Counsellor since 2005 and am based near Southampton. I am very passionate about travel and have appeared on the BBC and also had regular slots on local BBC radio discussing current events.
After my client’s book with me they are asked one question how likely it is you would refer me to your friends and family? This year I was nominated for a customer service award and was the 17th highest score out of over 1000 Travel Counsellors around the World. This is a fantastic result of which I am very proud. My favourite destination is America. I have lived in Houston, and visited New Orleans, Florida (six times), Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
My other great passion is cruising and I have cruised many times with a variety of cruise lines. This year I cruised to the Norwegian Fjords with P and O, cruising out of Southampton which was so easy and the Fjords were stunning. From my experience I am able to recommend the most suitable ship and itinerary to my clients.
I have just returned from Antigua and have also visited Trinidad, Tobago, Bahamas, Barbados twice, and St Lucia. I have also received the award for ‘Top Home based agent in Southern England’ by the hotel chain Sandals and Beaches.
I specialise in honeymoons and weddings abroad and have arranged a wedding in Central Park, New York, and in an historic sugar mill in Barbados.
I have travelled extensively around the world, as well as America and the Caribbean; I have skied in Canada, been to Dubai and visited many countries within Europe.

Working as a home based agent I am able to offer a level of service that in my opinion is far superior to anything you will receive from most high street travel agents or call centres. In fact, I would consider many of my customers to be friends and have been arranging their holidays for many years.
