Welcome and many thanks for visiting my web page.
I am based in Silchester on the Hants/Berks border. Working from home I offer a bespoke and personal service for booking all independent travel arrangements as well as all major holiday companies and cruise lines. As a Travel Counsellor, I am now able to utilise my independent, unbiased expert advice, obtained from over twenty years travel agency experience and combine this with individual customer service.
After studying Travel and Tourism at University, I joined American Express Travel where all arrangements were put together independently, and the emphasis was ALWAYS booking what was right for the customer and exceptional customer service.....an excellent training ground!
As a Manager for Thomas Cook for over 12 years, my destination knowledge was broadened extensively. A list of places visited, too long to detail, includes;
Asia, North and South America
South Africa and Egypt
First hand experience of most cruise lines - I am an avid cruiser!
A keen skier for over 30 years, visiting many resorts.
I became disillusioned with the increasing 'High-St' culture of 'mass-market' and directional-selling, away from the emphasis on the customer to what was most profitable for them.
As a Travel Counsellor I already feel I have found my 'niche'! I can offer same day response to enquiries and even home visits if required. Having now spent two yearsat TC, I am in NO doubt that I am now working for the most professional, customer-focussed company in the travel industry, where the little touches matter.
I am able to arrange anything from low-cost flights, weekend breaks and traditional family holidays to golf trips, cruises, weddings and honeymoons!
I can remove the stress that booking travel arrangements can often entail. Many people waste valuable time searching the internet only to be overwhelmed with a minefield of information, and without confidence in who they are dealing with and whether they have the best deal.
