Hello
I am your personal Travel Counsellor for Tamworth and the surrounding areas, although my customers are now nationwide. I am married and have 1 daughter, luckily my husband and daughter both share my interest in travel and we all have a passion for football. I have been a personal Travel Counsellor for the last 5 years and overall have enjoyed 24 years in the travel industry starting as a trainee and gaining my city and guilds in travel services and moving through the ranks up to branch management. I still participate in various training courses and especially destination training on areas I haven’t yet visited.
I am a big fan of European beaches and cities and have travelled to most of the popular holiday hotspots but my favourite country is Italy, closely followed by France and Croatia. I have had wonderful holidays in Tuscany, the Lakes and many cities but without doubt the Neapolitan Riviera is my particular favourite. The scenery along the Amalfi Coast is breathtaking. As a family we have discovered informal cruising. There are many pre conceptions about cruising, that it is too formal, set dinner times and unsuitable for families; well not in the world of informal cruises. 24-hour dining, fantastic excursions and the best childcare we have experienced make it a perfect holiday. Outside of Europe I have been lucky enough to visit the USA a number of times, Florida, the Californian coast, New York and one of my wish list destinations is Las Vegas. This place will knock you off your feet. Leave the kids at home, re mortgage your house and go and blow it in Vegas !!!
I have recently discovered Africa on a wonderful educational visit to South Africa, the whole experience was beyond words I am well and truly hooked and can’t wait to return and discover the other regions.
I love being a Travel Counsellor as our main focus is customer service, in 2007 98% of my own customers said they would recommend my services to their friends and family and as we don’t believe in directional selling I am free to find the holiday that suits you. I recognise trends are changing and have access to our own dynamic packaging system which I can use to create your own bespoke holiday by booking flights, accommodation and transfers separately.
