About Me
Hello, my name is Trudi Curtis and I would like to welcome you to my personal web page at Travel Counsellors.
There is something magical about working in travel and I wouldn't do anything else. How many industries give you the chance to help people sort out the highlight of their year?
It's over 30 years since I left school and joined an independent travel agency in Durham City. Having caught the travel bug I decided to see a bit of the world and never looked back.
I have crossed breathtaking Canada (and back) by train enjoying winter in Montreal and autumn in Vancouver, toured spectacular New Zealand in a camper van and wobbled around Crete on a moped.
Other visits include the beautiful, friendly Thailand where I hope to return for the fourth time, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Australia, Tunisia and many Mediterranean countries.
For ten years I worked abroad running summer and ski resorts in Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland. I learned so much about your holiday needs from my guests and as a parent myself now, I have first hand knowledge of family requirements and pride myself on attention to detail recommending the right resort to suit your specific needs.
Before joining Travel Counsellors I worked for two major tour operators and specialised in ski group reservations. If you are a group leader, please let me help take the headache away from organising your next ski trip.
