Val organised for us three choices of resort. We chose Cha Am Regent Resort Thailand. Very very peaceful to the point of outer body experience. Transfer from Bangkok about 2.5 hours after the flight and all transfers were on time. One driver was a bit Thai crazy. This was the only small issue we had. From our chalet we would walk along the empty beach have a Thai massage whilst the sun set for 150 baht ( about 3 quid) for the hour.

Get the golf buggy to the local village for GnTs at 7pm then a fantastic Thai meal and a few cold beers. This would set us back about 500 bah £14 for the two of us. The whole holiday was so relaxing it has been so hard to adjust back in to UK.

I’m glad we took Val’s advice.
