When considering options for both a honeymoon location and holiday type, the destinations seemed endless and the prices bottomless. When Fffion and I approached Vicki to assist us with our search we were immediately struck by her detailed knowledge of a wide range of destinations and differing types of resorts available. Vicki took our initial wide brief, probed with lots of questions and gave us confidence and assurance that she would come back with a number of different options. As a result we were able to consider holidays to the same countries, with different destinations and different budgets. Vicki catered for all eventualities. After selecting a resort in Egypt which was cheaper through Vicki than any other provider, she processed the booking and confirmation seamlessly which gave us time to worry about the other million things to organise for the wedding. Prior to leaving, Vicki called to ensure we had organised everything we needed to, again showing a commitment to her customers that we have not experienced in the travel industry before. On arrival we found Vicki had spoken to the hotel and arranged a superb room for us. She made them aware we were on honeymoon which was a wonderful way to start our holiday and it ended up being all we had wanted. Since this time we have recommended friends and family to Vicki and would continue to do so in the future.

Our brief for our honeymoon was to find somewhere romantic, luxurious and relaxing. We preferred a self-catering holiday rather than a hotel as we like our privacy and space. We had visited Cyprus before and decided we would like to return, and were quite specific about the area in which we wanted to stay. We e-mailed Vikki our ideas and she was able to respond with several suggestions. She e-mailed us the details and we were able to view the details over the internet at our leisure and then respond to her. This was one of the best parts of the service as we were busy with work and planning the rest of our wedding, and dislike sitting in a travel agents to book holidays. It certainly reduced the stress in the run up to the wedding and meant we didn't need to take time off work to visit a shop. Vikki suggested a luxury villa with its own pool, hot tub and sauna. She was able to put together a package for us that meant we had good flight times from our local airport. When we arrived at the villa it was just as described and made for our perfect honeymoon. We were able to relax and enjoy the luxury and privacy the villa provided. We had lived together for some time and therefore had most of the things we needed for our home. We decided that we would take advantage of Travel counsellors honeymoon scheme and asked our guests to contribute towards the cost of our honeymoon rather than have a gift list. Vikki was able to set up an account and provided us with cards to send to our guests with our invitations. Our guests were able to contribute to our account right up until our wedding and when we returned from our honeymoon we received a cheque and a list of who had contributed what, so we were able to write them personal thank you cards. Overall, the service Vikki and Travel counsellors provided was fantastic. It is easy to stay in touch with Vikki and we felt we were able to ask her questions, at any time.

Vikki came up with a perfect honeymoon itinerary, spending 1 week in Sri Lanka and then 1 week in the Maldives. It was wonderful. Vikki couldn't have been more helpful when we needed to postpone the trip, twice! She also was a huge help in getting us the extra baggage allowance we needed. The accommodation she chose was all fantastic. The trip wouldn't have been as good without her help!

Having visited Santorini on two separate occassions and completely fallen head over heels in love with it, when we decided to officially tie the knot there was only one place to do it. Friends of ours put us in touch with Vikki Parr at Travel Counsellors and they couldn't have given us a more valuable wedding present! Getting married on a Greek island, whilst romantic isn't the easiest of things to do. Documents have to be legalised at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London, translated into Greek and rubber stamped at the Greek Consulate in Holland Park. All very daunting (and expensive). However, with Vikki on the case, any worries ( and believe me there were many) were handled as if we were the only people she was dealing with. Most questions she was able to answer straight away and any she couldn't, were dealt with very promptly. Our wedding party also contacted her and she was able to organise accommodation for each of our guests all with varying budgets and as one remarked "she's brilliant, very friendly & efficient - we'll definately use her for future travel". The wedding itself far exceeded our wildest dreams, it was everything we hoped for & more. We were married at the Santo Winery with the sun setting behind us - so romantic! There were one or two minor hiccups whilst in resort, that unbeknown to us filtered back to Vikki, and again I understand she did her utmost to resolve. We can't sing Vikki's praises enough, she really has made the journey to becoming Mr & Mrs Peacock as smooth & successful as she possibly can - We feel as if we have made a new friend and we also will definately use her again.

As a family, we used to arrange our holidays through travel agents. It took a fair amount of our time wading through brochures to try and find the right location, not knowing if it would turn out OK. Since discovering Vikki, she has taken all this work away from us and she has tried out a number of the locations personally so knows first hand whether they are good or bad. We just explain where we would like to go, our budget and what features we are looking for - she does all the rest. A brilliant service and a fantastic travel consultant whom we recommend whenever we can.

We have booked our last 3 holidays through Vikki (the first one being our honeymoon, the second we are about to go on and the third is in February). On every occasion Vikki has been so helpful and professional and has come up with a deal that has suited us down to the ground, and within our budget. She even does the little things like sending you travel information that she has found on the Internet, that she knows relates to what you are interested in. It all mounts up to a very personal service that you just don't get in the travel agents on the high street. When we booked our honeymoon through Vikki we were originally looking at weddings abroad, she thoroughly researched the Caribbean, Italian and Lapland weddings for us before we realised that it was just way out of our price range and so we eventually decided on a honeymoon in the Maldives. Her help and research was invaluable and her patience astounding!! We had a fabulous time in the Maldives, it was everything we wanted and more and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to deal with Vikki as their travel agent, she is truly fabulous!
