About Me
My name is Walter Wolfe and I am a personal Travel Counsellor based in Giffnock, just south of Glasgow.
I have worked in the long haul department of one of Scotland’s largest independent travel agents and I also ran a website specializing in adventure and cultural travel. In addition I am a fully qualified USA travel specialist, premier level, with the USA government sponsored 'Visit USA Association'. My knowledge of travel within the United States is extensive.
Travel has always been my passion, so I am delighted be part of the Travel Counsellors team and to be part of the UK’s fastest growing and friendliest independent travel agents.
I have visited many interesting, exciting and varied destinations both at home and abroad. From Hadrian’s Wall to Hong Kong, London to Langkawi or Glasgow to the Greek Islands, there are many different and wonderful travel experiences to be enjoyed! I recently went on a fact finding trip to The Cayman Islands to help increase my knowledge of the Carribean.
I also specialise in Business Travel. I enjoy helping my business clients find the most cost and time efficient itineraries, often at short notice. Business clients need flexibility and fast response and I endeavour to provide that at all times.
I believe that my role is to help my clients’ find the holiday they want at an affordable and realistic price. I strive to give my clients the highest level of personal service and independent travel advice, and I am available at my client's convenience and in the evenings and at weekends.
I also believe that booking a holiday should be a positive and fun experience helping you to look forward to the trip ahead.
