About Me
My name is William Forster and I am an independent travel agent in Beeston near Nottingham. I have been in the travel industry for over 25 years. I joined Travel Counsellors in 2005 and before that I started with Thomas Cook and latterly I was with Orbitas Travel in Beeston.
I joined Travel Counsellors as I wanted to concentrate on giving my customers the highest possible levels of personal service and independent travel advice.
As your own professional Travel Counsellor I can use our award winning technology and my personal expertise to tailor make exactly the right holiday to suit your needs. Rather than selling you a standard tour operator package, I can quickly search through hundreds of different flight, accommodation and transfer alternatives to find something that suits your needs exactly. Quite often this means I can build you a bespoke holiday at a cheaper price than the standard holiday package you might get elsewhere.
Travel Counsellors recognises that not everyone is free to discuss their travel arrangements during the working week. My company’s award winning technology enables me to work from home and means you can contact me at times when most other travel agents are unavailable, including evenings and weekends.
I love geography, flying, maps and travel. My most memorable holiday was to South Africa in which I visited with some travel industry colleagues. Our holiday included a three day stay at the fabulous Mala Mala game park which is part of the Kruger National Park. We saw a truly breathtaking variety of animals and birds from open land rovers. A wonderful experience. We then toured the Eastern Transvaal (now Mpumalanga) seeing the wonderful Blythe River canyon, God's Window Wonder View, Three Rondavels, Bourke's luck potholes and Pilgrim’s Rest - a preserved village and national monument of the Gold Rush times. We flew back from Kruger to Johannesburg. South Africa is my dream location and my next must do trip is to Cape Town and the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth.
