A heady combination of natural wonders, awe-inspiring sights, buzzing cities and some of the world’s best beaches, Brazil is a country that has to be seen to be believed. Over three nights in the city of Sao Paolo, join your guide and explore the fascinating neighbourhood of Liberdade, visit the impressive Catedral da Sá, stroll along the famous Paulista Avenue, discover the sophisticated Jardins district and admire the beautiful Ibirapuera park. Look out for flocks of colourful parakeets and parrots, as well as eagles, hawks and toucans, and you may even spot the rare and beautiful hyacinth macaw. Next on your expertly-crafted itinerary is the colonial town of Paraty, your base for discovering the spectacular Iguazu Falls. Spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil, you’ll have chance to marvel at this breath-taking natural wonder from both countries. In Argentina, take the small train to the ominously named ‘Devil's Throat’ and then join your guide to explore the various trails through the jungle. You’ll then get up close and personal with this stunning natural wonder on an incredible boat ride under the falls themselves. The next day, see the falls from the Brazilian side, en route to the Cidade Maravilhosa of Rio de Janeiro. Explore some of the local spots at your leisure, including the world-famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, before spending the next day touring Rio's main landmarks. Visit Tijuca National Park, the world's largest urban forest, as you make your way to the top of Corcovado Mountain, home to the awe-inspiring statue of Christ the Redeemer. Next, tour the heart of the city’s historical centre, before heading to the famous natural landmark of Sugarloaf Mountain, where you’ll take a cable car up to the summit for some seriously stunning panoramic views.
