Maldives

It was then off to the Maldives for a short 4-night fam trip. Great and short flight with Emirates out of Dubai - just under 4 hours which was great. On arrival it was onto the seaplane for our trip to Atmosphere by Kanifushi. A great 40-minute journey to this lovely Island.

We had an amazing welcome from the staff and were then shown to our rooms. We had some time to relax and then had a great tour of this amazing resort. It was then all change for our hosted Dinner at the Teppenyaki restaurant. All the usual but the food was outstanding. It was then back to Liquid for some night time entertainment and then bed.

Nice relaxing day with lunch in the stunning Just Veg restaurant. I am not vegetarian, but it was the best food of the trip. At night we had an amazing private BBQ followed by Karaoke.

The next morning it was back on the Seaplane and back to Male to catch our luxury speedboat to Ozen. Beautiful boat and on arrival at Ozen again met by all the staff who had even baked a cake for our arrival. In fact, they baked a cake for us everywhere we went. Again, we checked into our rooms and off for a tour of this luxury island.

At night it was dinner in the Indian restaurant. The food was stunning and plentiful so early nights all round.

After breakfast it was off for some snorkelling and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. So much plastic in the ocean which hampered the view.

At night we were treated to dinner in the underwater Restaurant M6M. Seafood cuisine which was unbelievable.

The next day it was home and Emirates flights back to Glasgow.
