Krakow

Krakow, Poland is often thought of a place to stay so that you can visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau museum. You can take a full day tour from Krakow and spend a very reflective and informative time learning about the events that took place there.

Krakow though should not be overlooked. Stroll through the cobbled streets lined with chocolatiers, patisseries and quaint stores full of local artisan produce that lead to the stunning Main Square. Take a horse and cart ride around the square and try not to be overwhelmed by the choice of eateries.

Explore the beautiful Wawel castle and follow the Vistula for a riverside walk. For the hardy walkers , wander through the countryside villages to Kosciuszko Mound and take the circular climb to the top and enjoy the view!

Krakow is well worth a visit, the food and drink is well priced, it is easy to get around and there are a wealth of discoveries to be made!
